Game Introduction

War of Empire Conquest (WOE) is an enthralling real-time strategy (RTS) mobile game that thrives on real-time competitive (PvP) action. In WOE, one player initiates a match, inviting others to join and engage in intense battles. Players have the freedom to manually control all types of units and buildings, offering a high degree of strategic flexibility.

Main Elements:

WOE brings to life 18 powerful medieval Empires, including China, Japan, Persia, Teutonic, Mongolian, Gothic, and Maya, among others. Each Empire features 8 types of regular units and one unique unit. While the regular units are consistent across all Empires, the unique units add distinctive flair—think Riders in Mongolia, War Elephants in Persia, and Conquistadors in Spain.

The regular units include:

  1. Swordsman: A common, versatile unit.
  2. Pikeman: Vulnerable to arrows but effective against Cavalry.
  3. Archers: Weak against Cavalry but strong against Pikemen.
  4. Light Cavalry: Known for speed and mobility, ideal for harassing enemies.
  5. Aries: Specialized in attacking buildings.

Buildings in WOE range from Towers and Turrets to Castles and blacksmith shops. For instance, a Tower, when manned by 5 farmers, can launch 6 arrows simultaneously, making it a formidable offensive structure. Turrets, on the other hand, focus on demolishing enemy buildings.

Each Empire in WOE possesses unique strengths and weaknesses. For a detailed exploration, players should dive into the game. Here’s a glimpse:

  1. Huns: No need for housing, saving time. Cavalry costs 20% fewer resources and can be upgraded to Rangers.
  2. Teutonic: Boasts powerful but slow-moving warriors, reminiscent of historical Spartan warriors.

Highlights:

The essence of WOE's gameplay involves juggling multiple tasks simultaneously:

  1. Develop Economy: Focus on producing as many farmers as possible to gather resources. Use Town Centers (TCs) and Towers as temporary shelters for farmers.
  2. Harassing Enemies: Early in the game, train small units to disrupt enemy farmers, gaining an edge.
  3. Destroy Enemies: Ultimately, aim to defeat your opponents.

Cooperation with allies is crucial. Form legions to overcome numerically superior foes and protect allies' units that may have high damage but low health. Understanding unit counters and fostering teamwork are key:

  • Pikemen counter Cavalry.
  • Cavalry counter Archers.
  • Archers counter Pikemen.
  • Slaves (riding camels) counter Cavalry.
  • Koryo Carriages counter all ranged units.

Game Modes:

WOE features two primary resources: Food and Gold. As the game evolves, players can upgrade their TCs from the dark ages to the feudal, castle, and emperor eras, unlocking advanced technologies, buildings, and units along the way. To cater to different play styles, WOE offers various game modes:

  1. Normal Mode: With limited resources, prioritize development. Early harassment with small units adds a strategic layer, making this mode both complex and engaging.
  2. Imperial Deathmatch Mode: Start directly in the emperor era with ample resources, leading to immediate, intense battles.

Main Features:

Having run successfully for 4 years in China, WOE has undergone numerous upgrades, reaching version 1.8.n. Key features include:

  1. Player vs. CPU battles.
  2. Network play for real-time PvP.
  3. Spectator mode for watching matches.
  4. Replay functionality to review games.
  5. Map-making tools for custom scenarios.
  6. Legion system for team play.
  7. Friend list to connect with other players.
  8. Chat system for in-game communication.

WOE offers a rich, strategic experience that demands dedication and skill, making it a standout choice for RTS enthusiasts on mobile.
