CD Projekt RED has recently rolled out an exciting update for Cyberpunk 2077, bringing more than just a slew of fixes. This time around, they've incorporated cutting-edge NVIDIA technology to elevate your gaming experience. With the introduction of DLSS 4 support, owners of GeForce RTX 50 graphics cards will enjoy the benefit of generating multiple extra frames, enhancing the fluidity of gameplay. This feature will be available starting January 30th, and it's not just the RTX 50 owners who get to reap the benefits—RTX 40 card users will also experience faster frame creation, all while using less memory.
For all GeForce RTX graphics card users, the update introduces a choice between the convolution neural network model and the innovative transform model for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, DLSS Super Resolution, and DLAA. Opting for the transform model promises superior lighting, finer details, and more stable images, significantly boosting visual quality.
The update also addresses technical issues, such as fixing interference and crashes on in-game screens when DLSS ray reconstruction is active. Additionally, the "Frame Creation" parameter now updates seamlessly after resolution scaling is disabled, ensuring a smoother experience.
Notable Changes in Update 2.21 for Cyberpunk 2077:
- Fixed a bug that prevented players from interacting with certain vendors.
- Resolved an issue where the sound of TV news programs was either missing or too quiet.
- Corrected a bug that caused Johnny to appear in the passenger seat less frequently than intended.
- Addressed a glitch where some items would vanish when players used the feature to hide nearby characters.
- Fixed a freezing issue that occurred when players entered Photo Mode and simultaneously opened a closet or stash.
- Enhanced Photo Mode by allowing Nibbles and Adam Smasher to be positioned in the frame when Vee is in the air or water.
- Improved the feature that adjusts Adam Smasher's facial expressions for a more dynamic interaction.
With these updates, Cyberpunk 2077 continues to refine its gameplay and visual experience, ensuring that players can dive deeper into the immersive world of Night City with fewer interruptions and enhanced performance.
