The Witcher 4 State of Unreal Showcase
Powering The Witcher 4 and Beyond
CD Projekt Red confirmed via Twitter that The Witcher 4 will be featured in Epic Games' State of Unreal event on June 3 at 9:30 AM ET. The presentation will stream live on Unreal Engine's official YouTube and Twitch channels, showcasing innovative UE5 technologies powering both The Witcher 4 and future projects.

Following its initial reveal at The Game Awards 2024, this State of Unreal presentation will demonstrate the game's technical capabilities. While CDPR has only shared a CGI trailer so far - featuring Ciri as protagonist - this event may offer our first look at gameplay or in-engine graphics.
Every Game Must Have Something New
During CD Projekt's AnsweRED podcast, co-CEO Adam Badowski discussed the studio's philosophy for The Witcher series and future projects. "We consciously implement new elements with each release," Badowski explained, reflecting on The Witcher 3's 10th anniversary. "Every game should introduce innovations rather than repeating past formulas."

The studio aims to apply this creative approach to The Witcher 4, particularly with Ciri taking the protagonist role. While currently targeting PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms, CDPR hasn't announced a specific release date for the highly anticipated sequel.
