⚫︎ Elden Ring: Nightreign will not include the iconic player messaging system from previous FromSoftware titles, as confirmed by director Junya Ishizaki in an interview with IGN Japan. While players will still see the ghosts of others, the ability to leave floor messages has been removed due to the game's new session-based structure. Each playthrough, lasting around 40 minutes, leaves little time for reading or writing messages. Set in the procedurally generated realm of Limveld, Nightreign adopts a roguelike format with a three-day progression system and co-op gameplay for up to three players.
