For automotive simulator enthusiasts, January 16, 2025 marks a historic milestone. Kunos Simulazioni Studios will release Assetto Corsa EVO via Steam Early Access.
The initial release features 20 meticulously detailed vehicles and 5 iconic circuits: Imola, Brands Hatch, Bathurst, Laguna Seca, and Suzuka. Despite being in early access, developers guarantee already refined physics, precise handling, and authentic vehicle behavior.
A standout feature is the free-roam driving mode. A major summer 2025 update will introduce expansive roads surrounding the legendary Nürburgring. This fully laser-scanned open world will span approximately 1,600 square kilometers with planned gradual expansion.
Assetto Corsa EVO positions itself as the ultimate racing simulator poised to rival industry leaders like Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport, boasting photorealistic visuals and cutting-edge physics.
At launch, the game will offer approximately 100 vehicles and 15 circuits, with additional content arriving through free updates. Each track replicates real-world conditions including tire degradation and wet surfaces, while animated crowds enhance immersion.
Developers have implemented advanced vehicle dynamics with improved suspension damping and shock absorption. The Driving Academy mode challenges players to complete circuits within time limits on the featured tracks.
During Early Access, Driving Academy will serve as a key single-player experience where players can earn licenses to unlock premium vehicles.
