Escape the Cursed Forest: A Simple Non-Combat RPG

Embark on a unique RPG adventure as a skilled hunter trapped in a cursed forest. This minimalist, non-combat game focuses on exploration, resource management, and strategic decision-making rather than traditional battles.

The Premise:

You, the village's best hunter, arrive at a hunting tournament only to find the forest eerily deserted. Your journey to escape begins, fraught with strange occurrences and unsettling encounters. The core mystery revolves around the "Elven Curse" and your survival depends on your wit and resourcefulness.

Gameplay Mechanics:

• Simple Controls: Navigate with intuitive, minimal button presses (maximum 3 at a time), except in the main menu.
• Character Creation: While character customization is limited, you can reroll your stats as often as needed before starting the game. Stat increases upon leveling up are only visible on this screen.
• Limited Resources: Your life force is precious. When it reaches zero, it's game over. Carry only a limited number of "talismans" for revivals.
• Foria, the Quarter-Elf: A mysterious quarter-elf boy (?), Foria, secretly assists you in your escape, lending the power of the forest's ancient spirits.
• Exploration: Progress through the forest by exploring unexplored areas. The success of each exploration attempt depends on your stats and the "fog depth" of the area.
• Encounters: You'll face various creatures, from wolves to frogs, but combat is optional. Maintain distance to use your bow and arrow safely, or use wound medicine to heal. If cornered, choose between a risky withdrawal or a guaranteed escape using a "flash" ball.
• Cloak System: Craft a cloak using gathered materials to enhance your abilities. You can layer up to three cloaks, but they can be damaged and destroyed. This is the only equipment you can change.
• Skill Selection: Choose from a variety of randomly presented skills.
• Auto-Save: The game autosaves, but not during battles. Save your progress manually in the base menu to avoid data loss.
