Thunee, named after the Tamil word for water, is a beloved trick-taking card game that originated in Durban, South Africa. This engaging game is derived from the popular Indian and Sri Lankan game, 304, and offers players an authentic gaming experience through its app, available in both Single Player and Multiplayer modes.

For the ultimate Thunee experience, an online connection is essential, allowing you to upload and update your scores. In Multiplayer mode, you can invite friends to join as partners or challenge them to a game. Invitations are easily sent via push notifications or WhatsApp messages. The app keeps track of your games with friends, displaying results and stats on a dedicated statistics page, perfect for bragging rights among your circle.

Beginners can start with the Easy difficulty setting, which includes helpful assistance and narration to guide them through the game. Thunee's app is highly customizable, allowing you to tailor the game to your preferred style through various settings and options. You can adjust:

• Difficulty levels: Hard, Medium, or Easy
• Score assistance for Medium and Easy modes, providing real-time trick/hand values and scores
• Bidding prompts, set to occur all the time or only when holding three or more cards of the same suit or J9
• Early win or loss notifications when scores exceed the required amount (enabled by default)
• Early victory claims, including Double and Khanuck claims
• The duration to clear a trick (hand), with the option to click and clear earlier than the set time (default is 1 second)
• Vocal sounds for bidding, calling Jodhi, and more
• Game appearance, including background customization with color and vignette effects, and card pack selection
• The inclusion of Royals, where card values are reversed (e.g., Queens become Jacks, Kings become Nines)
