Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.5 Update Introduces Highly-Anticipated Agent Reruns
Version 1.5 of Zenless Zone Zero marks a significant shift in the game's character release strategy. For the first time, players will have a chance to obtain previously released S-Rank agents, a feature long requested by the community. This update breaks from the previous pattern of solely introducing new agents with each version.
The update is divided into two phases:
Phase 1 (January 22 - February 12):
- Astra Yao (new agent)
- Ellen Joe (rerun banner) This rerun also includes Ellen's Agent Story.
Phase 2 (February 12 - March 11):
- Evelyn Chevalier (new agent)
- Qingyi (rerun banner)
Both rerun banners will also feature the respective characters' signature W-Engines.
This change aligns Zenless Zone Zero more closely with the rerun systems employed in other HoYoverse titles like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. The decision to introduce reruns addresses player concerns and provides another avenue for acquiring powerful characters.
The Version 1.5 Special Program also unveiled three new character outfits:
- "Chandelier" for Astra
- "On Campus" for Ellen
- "Cunning Cutie" for Nicole (obtainable for free via the Day of Brilliant Wishes event)
The inclusion of agent reruns and new outfits promises to make Version 1.5 a highly engaging update for both veteran and new players.
