This January 25th, from 2 pm to 5 pm local time, Pokémon GO's Community Day Classic spotlights Ralts! Evolving Kirlia (Ralts' evolution) during this period, or within five hours afterward, grants a Gardevoir or Gallade possessing the powerful Synchronoise Charged Attack (80 damage).
This Community Day Classic, a recurring event giving trainers a second chance at past Community Day Pokémon, offers a fantastic opportunity to catch Ralts, including shiny variants, appearing at increased rates in the wild. Beyond the boosted Ralts encounters, expect extended Lure Module and Incense durations (three hours each), and a quarter hatch distance for eggs.
Beyond the increased spawn rate and evolution bonus, numerous in-game additions enhance the experience:
- Special Research ($2): Rewards include a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and three Ralts encounters with seasonal backgrounds.
- Timed Research: Yields four Sinnoh Stones and a Ralts encounter.
- Continued Timed Research: Provides additional Ralts encounters with unique backgrounds.
- Field Research: Offers Stardust and Great Balls.
- New Showcases & Offers: Including a $4.99 Ultra Box (via the Pokémon GO Web Store) and two bundles (1350 and 480 PokéCoins).
Originally introduced in 2017 with the Hoenn region, Ralts previously featured in a Community Day in August 2019. This event joins other January activities, including Shadow Ho-Oh's return during Shadow Day, and the anticipated Lunar New Year event.
