What's the Pokémon GO Safari Ball?
Long-time Pokémon fans will recognize Safari Zones from the main series games. These special areas allowed catching rare Pokémon without battles – a feature Niantic is recreating with the Wild Area event.

The Wild Area event runs globally from November 23rd to 24th, 2024, concluding at 6:15 pm local time. Important: Unused Safari Balls vanish from your inventory after the event ends.
