«Spite & Malice», also called «Cat and Mouse» or «Screw Your Neighbor», is a classic card game for two to four players. It is an adaptation of the continental game «Crapette» from the late 19th century, acting as a competitive form of solitaire with multiple variations playable using two or more standard decks. The game is a derivative of «Russian Bank». Its commercial edition is sold under the name «Skip-Bo». Unlike that version, «Spite & Malice» is played with traditional playing cards.
The goal of this card game is to be the first player to successfully play all cards from their personal stack in sequence to win.
