The Evolutionary upgrade fundamentally transforms the Inferno Dragon's combat effectiveness. Unlike its basic version that resets damage when changing targets, the evolved form preserves its escalating damage output for maximum impact.
Inferno Dragon Evolution Launches New Season
With the aptly named "How to Evolve Your Dragon!" season, Clash Royale reintroduces competitive 2v2 League battles alongside this new Evolution card. Players can partner with friends or be matched with random teammates to climb the leaderboard.
Season Milestones beginning at Arena 7 offer substantial rewards including Lumberjack Evolution Shards, an Epic Book of Cards, and exclusive cosmetic items.
Crown Chase #1 unlocks a fully customized Battle Banner with matching frame and decoration pieces, plus an Epic Book of Cards. The subsequent Crown Chase #2 rewards another Battle Banner alongside additional Evolution Shards.
Several limited-time game modes and tournaments will showcase the new Evolution cards throughout June and early July. The Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft runs June 2-9, followed by the Inferno Dragon Challenge June 6-9 featuring exclusive emote and banner rewards.
Special events include Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) permitting four Evolution cards per deck, Magical Trio (June 16-23), 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30), and Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7) allowing up to eight Evolution cards in a single deck.
