War - a card game with straightforward rules for all ages
War - the classic childhood card game enjoyed by nearly everyone. The rules are simple: cards are evenly distributed among players, and each turn, players reveal the top card of their deck. The player with the higher card takes both and adds them to the bottom of their deck. If both players reveal the same card, a "war" begins. During a war, each player places two cards face down, followed by two cards face up. The player with the higher face-up card wins all the cards in play. The goal is to collect every card. Cards are ranked from lowest to highest (6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K, A), with one exception: a six defeats an ace.
