Clapperboard offers a revolutionary solution that allows you to record video using any camera, from CCTV to action cams, and even built-in drone cameras, and then confirm its authenticity and authorship via blockchain technology. To begin, you'll need to create your own account on Clapperboard and ensure your balance is topped up.
To secure an authentic video, follow these steps:
- Comment on the video you are about to record.
- Request a unique QR-code from Clapperboard.
- Display this QR-code on camera while recording the video.
Once you've completed these steps, the generated QR-code along with your comment will be permanently recorded on the NEM blockchain. You can then proceed to capture your video using your chosen camera.
To verify that the video has not been tampered with and was created after the QR-code was generated, upload the segment of the video that includes the QR-code to the Prover.io service. Upon successful verification, you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity detailing the video's integrity.
