"Where Is My Bus?" is the official app of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality General Directorate of IETT Operations. This innovative tool allows you to access detailed information about bus routes in Istanbul, including timetables and which lines service specific stops.
Need directions? Just ask "Where Is My Bus?" to guide you to your desired destination!
With the app, you can easily locate nearby stops, Istanbulkart refill points, and İspark parking facilities, displayed in both list and map formats.
Plan your journey effortlessly with "Where Is My Bus?"
Utilize public transportation in Istanbul to reach your destination via multiple routes. To explore your options, simply enter your starting point and destination in the "How To Go" menu, along with your preferred date and time of travel. Plan your trip based on your departure or arrival time. "Where Is My Bus?" presents various route alternatives, allowing you to choose based on your preference for the quickest journey or the one with the least walking. Select your preferred route and dive into the details, or track your route on the map.
Discover the nearest bus stop
From the "Stops Near Me" section, you can list stops closest to your current location, sorted by distance. Tap on a stop to access its detailed page, where you can view which lines serve it and when the next bus will arrive. Switch to map view to see stop locations and get directions.
Find other transportation amenities nearby
Locate the nearest Istanbulkart refill points or İspark parking facilities from your current location. "Where Is My Bus?" makes this information readily available. From the side menu, you can view distances to these points, parking capacities, and types of parking available (such as open lots or multi-story garages). Explore these locations on the map and get directions to your chosen spot.
Access line and route details
Search bus lines by name to view their main and express routes. From the line detail page, select a route to see the stops it serves. Track real-time bus locations, with express routes highlighted in distinct colors for easy identification. Use the map view to see all routes of a line, selecting the desired routes via the filter icon in the top left corner of the map.
Plan your trip with precise departure times
Access the "Timetables" page either from the homepage or from a line's detail page. The timetable displays departure times for the main route, with express route times and colors clearly marked. Check the "Route Information" section to understand which color corresponds to which express route.
Stay informed with real-time announcements
When viewing a line or stop's detail page, click the "Announcements" icon for the latest updates on that line or stop. You can also review past announcements about all lines, stops, departure times, and route changes from the "Announcements" page in the side menu.
