S-Tier
S-Tier agents excel in their roles and synergize effectively within teams.
- Miyabi: Exceptional Frost damage dealer. Requires strategic play to maximize her devastating potential.
- Jane Doe: Superior to Piper, boasting significantly higher Assault Anomaly critical hit damage. While Anomaly units are generally slower, her potent Assault capabilities earn her an S-rank alongside Zhu Yuan and Ellen.
- Yanagi: Excels at triggering Disorder, a crucial effect achievable even without applying Shock alongside other Anomalies. Ideal teammate for Miyabi.
- Zhu Yuan: High-damage DPS using Shot shells. Pairs well with Stun and Support characters, particularly Qingyi and Nicole in version 1.1.
- Caesar: Exceptional defensive capabilities, providing substantial buffs and debuffs. Scales with Impact, enabling easy enemy stuns and crowd control.
- Qingyi: Versatile Stunner effective in most teams with an Attack Agent. Rapid Daze buildup and significant damage multipliers against stunned enemies. While excellent, she doesn't surpass Lycaon's synergy with Ellen.
- Lighter: Stun Agent with significant buffs, ideally paired with Fire and Ice characters.
- Lycaon: Ice-based Stunner relying on charged attacks. Reduces enemy Ice resistance and boosts ally Daze DMG, essential for Ice teams.
- Ellen: Ice-element Attack Agent, synergizing exceptionally well with Lycaon and Soukaku. Deals substantial damage, especially with EX Special Attacks and Ultimates.
- Harumasa: Electric-Attack character; initially a free reward. Requires specific setup to unleash full potential.
- Soukaku: Support character providing Ice buffs, particularly beneficial for Ice units like Ellen and Lycaon.
- Rina: Support dealing considerable damage while granting PEN (defense ignore). Also builds Shock Anomaly and buffs Shock reactions.
A-Tier
A-Tier agents are strong in specific team compositions.
- Nicole: Ether Support, pulling enemies and boosting Ether DMG while shredding enemy DEF. Less effective with non-Ether DPS units.
- Seth: Shielder and Support, but less impactful than top-tier buffers like Soukaku and Caesar. Niche support for Anomaly DPS.
- Lucy: Support dealing off-field damage and providing ATK% buffs. Synergy with other characters enhances her DPS.
- Piper: Relies heavily on her EX Special Attack for high Physical Anomaly damage. Effective in Anomaly teams triggering Disorder.
- Grace: Strong Anomaly character, quickly applying Shock and triggering damage. Effectiveness diminished by newer Anomaly agents.
- Koleda: Reliable Fire/Stun character, synergizing well with other Fire units, especially Ben.
- Anby: Reliable Stunner, but easily interrupted compared to others in her class.
- Soldier 11: Straightforward Fire damage dealer. High damage output but simple mechanics.
B-Tier
B-Tier agents have some utility, but are outperformed by others.
- Ben: Defensive character with parry and punish mechanics. Slow and limited team benefits outside of Crit Rate buff.
- Nekomata: AoE damage dealer heavily reliant on team support. Limited synergy options in 1.0.
C-Tier
C-Tier agents currently offer limited value.
- Corin: Physical damage dealer, outperformed by Nekomata and Piper.
- Billy: High attack frequency but low damage output. Effective in quick-swap teams but outclassed by other DPS units.
- Anton: Electric unit with interesting Core Skill but low DPS and single-target focus.
