Konami celebrates Yu-Gi-Oh!'s 25th anniversary with the upcoming release of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection for Nintendo Switch and Steam! This nostalgic package will feature a selection of classic Game Boy era titles, offering modern conveniences for fans.
Konami's announcement confirms the inclusion of several beloved games:
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2
While previously announced, these are only the first wave of titles. Konami plans to add more games to the collection, ultimately aiming for a total of ten classic entries. The full lineup will be revealed later.
To enhance the experience, Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection will include modern features absent from the originals. These additions include online battles, save/load functionality, and online support for games with existing local co-op modes. Konami also promises quality-of-life improvements and customization options for button layouts and backgrounds.
