Microsoft has unveiled the exciting lineup for Wave 1 of the Xbox Game Pass for May 2025, featuring 12 new titles that will be available up to May 20. The standout addition is Doom: The Dark Ages, the latest installment in id Software's iconic first-person shooter series, launching day-one on Game Pass due to Microsoft's ownership of the game.
Starting today, May 6, subscribers can dive into Dredge (available on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S), accessible through Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. Here's what Microsoft has to say about it:

On May 7, Game Pass will see a flurry of new additions, including Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC) on Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard; Dungeons of Hinterberg (Console) now on Game Pass Standard; Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (Xbox Series X|S) also on Game Pass Standard; and Metal Slug Tactics (Console) now on Game Pass Standard.
May 8 brings Revenge of the Savage Planet (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass as a day-one title. Here's the official description:
