- Wuthering Waves marks its first anniversary with global celebrations
- Last month, dedicated fans gathered at exclusive in-person events worldwide
- Activities included cosplay contests, live soundtrack performances, and buffet dining
One year after launch, Kuro Games naturally wants to commemorate the achievements of their action RPG Wuthering Waves. Instead of limiting festivities to digital events, they expanded into the physical world with a series of international fan gatherings held throughout last month.
From Japan to China, and even a North American event in Los Angeles, Rovers enjoyed a packed schedule. The celebrations featured a cosplay competition alongside a live performance of the game's acclaimed soundtrack.
Attendees were also treated to a full buffet, but those who couldn't make it needn't feel left out. Version 2.4 of Wuthering Waves is approaching fast, with a recent livestream unveiling all the upcoming content.
WaveyDubbed "Lightly We Toss the Crown," Version 2.4 is shaping up to be an exciting update. Players can anticipate two new major Resonators, Cartethyia and Lupa, alongside story chapters set in the Septimont region.
In a genre dominated by established titles, it's noteworthy when a game distinguishes itself. While Kuro Games faces stiff competition from genre leader MiHoYo, fans clearly appreciate Wuthering Waves as an engaging alternative.
