Tech enthusiasts continue to explore the potential of screen adaptations using modern technology, with their sights now set on the Witcher series. Sora AI, a YouTube channel creator, recently unveiled a concept trailer for a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adaptation.
Styled to evoke the aesthetic of 1980s cinema, this project leverages the power of neural networks. The trailer features numerous recognizable characters from the Witcher universe, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, Priscilla, and others. While some minor visual alterations are present, the characters remain easily identifiable.
Recently, the developers of Witcher 3 hinted at the inclusion of a Triss wedding scene, originally planned as the "Ashen Marriage" mission in Novigrad. The storyline depicts Triss's burgeoning feelings for Castello and her desire for a swift marriage. Geralt assists with wedding preparations, tasks including ridding the canals of monsters, procuring alcohol, and selecting a wedding gift.
Interestingly, Triss's reaction is directly influenced by the chosen gift. Less elaborate gifts receive a lukewarm response, while a memory rose—a familiar item from Witcher 2—elicits a much stronger emotional response.
