Master the Fountain of Confession Puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
This guide unravels the secrets of the Fountain of Confession puzzle in the Vatican section of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, helping you solve the mystery of the giants.
Accessing the Puzzle:
After completing the Sacred Wounds puzzle, use your journal's map to locate the Fountain of Confession in the outer courtyard.
Phase 1: The Dragon Statues:
- Retrieve the fountain key from the chest near the construction area.
- Access the storage room and use your whip to reach the top of the fountain.
- Swing to the second dragon statue and use its claw to activate a lever.
- Rotate the statue to face the opposite dragon.
- Repeat for the first dragon, noting its missing claw.
- Retrieve the fallen claw from the scaffolding.
- Reattach the claw and rotate both dragons to face each other. This rotates the central fountain statue.
Phase 2: The Wall Puzzles:
- Use your whip to pull the rotated fountain statue, revealing a gate blocked by three statues.
- Activate the lever near the fountain to reveal the first wall puzzle (baptism scene).
- Position the larger male statue under the water bucket.
- Activate the water mechanism to fill the bucket.
- Push the statue to "baptize" the smaller statue, removing the leftmost blocking statue.
- Reactivate the lever to reveal the second wall puzzle (angel path).
- Manipulate the path layers using the handles to move the angel figure to the right, removing the final blocking statue.
Phase 3: Final Steps:
- Push the remaining central statue through the gate.
- Access the revealed spiral stairway to continue your adventure.
