How to Locate the Garbage Journalist Cache in the Maze
To find this stash, travel northwest from the Slag Heap towards the car maze. While the maze has multiple entrances, use the main entrance (shown on the map above).
Proceed through the maze, keeping to the right until you reach a burnt-out bus on its side. Look to your left; you'll see another bus with a blue exterior. Climb onto this bus to locate the stash. Descend on the opposite side and open the stash to obtain the Tourist Suit Body Armor.
Is the Tourist Suit Armor Worth It?
The Tourist Suit is a highly effective early-to-mid game armor in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It offers substantial protection against thermal, electrical, and chemical hazards. Its key advantages are superior radiation and physical protection, crucial for mitigating radiation exposure and various damage types.
Beyond its defensive capabilities, it boosts stamina regeneration by 5%. Given the extensive exploration in Stalker 2, enhanced stamina and regeneration are invaluable for extended travel.
While the Tourist Suit is excellent in its base form, upgrading it further enhances its performance. While Lens at Zalissya cannot upgrade it, Diode at the Slag Heap possesses the necessary expertise. He can equip high-quality modifications, significantly improving its protective attributes.
