Netmarble has unveiled an exhilarating update for Tower of God New World, enhancing the collectible card RPG experience on Android and iOS with new heroes, a thrilling PvP mode, and a slew of events. Let's dive into the details of this latest patch that promises to keep players engaged and excited.
The spotlight of this update shines on SSR+ [Luxury] Po Bidau Hugo, a Yellow Element Assassin who commands the Po Bidau Army's floating ship, the Victor. Hugo, who believes battle is her true calling, brings a powerful Luxury Shield ability to the fray, capable of dealing devastating damage to a selected target. This makes her an invaluable addition to any player's lineup, adding both strategy and firepower to your deck.
Joining Hugo is SSR [Unleashed Desire] David, a Purple Element Support and a clone of White. David's focus on survivability and his ability to remove debuffs from allies make him a crucial asset for those looking to fortify their team's resilience in strategic battles.
The update introduces the Coliseum Arena, a new multi-deck PvP mode where players can engage in real-time battles. Operating on a weekly cycle, the arena features character bans and buffs based on their performance in the previous season. The inaugural season, running until March 19th, offers enticing rewards like Expirable Titles, based on players' rankings.
Alongside these additions, several limited-time events are now live and will continue until March 26th. The [Luxury] Po Bidau Hugo Festival invites players to delve into Hugo's Emily Talk Story and claim a variety of rewards. The Hugo Release Celebration ramps up the excitement with multiple activities, including Special Summons, Check-Ins, Boost Missions, and TapTap Plus, offering prizes like Suspendiums and an SSR+ Hugo.
The White Day 'Sweet Popping Candy' event allows players to collect 'Little Candy' through gameplay, which can be exchanged for SSR+ Soulstones, SSR Soulstones, and an [S] Equipment Selection Chest. Additionally, Hugo's Luxury Festa! event offers up to 60 Gentleman Summon Tickets as rewards for completing missions.
To keep the competition fresh, new seasons for the Alliance Expedition and Revolution Room have also been introduced, ensuring that players have plenty of challenges to tackle.
