Eclipse Glow Games Unveils "Tides of Annihilation," a New Action-Adventure Title
Revealed at Sony's State of Play 2025, Tides of Annihilation is a single-player action-adventure game promising a gripping narrative and intense combat. Developed by the Chengdu-based studio Eclipse Glow Games (backed by Tencent), the game features a unique blend of breakneck action and immersive storytelling.
The game transports players to a modern-day London under siege by otherworldly forces. Players assume the role of Gwendolyn, exploring iconic London landmarks and battling enemies inspired by Arthurian mythos. A key element of gameplay involves summoning spectral Knights of the Round Table to aid in combat against formidable foes, including skyscraper-sized bosses.
Eclipse Glow Games, comprised of over 100 developers with experience on titles such as Yakuza, For Honor, Assassin's Creed, Persona, and Prince of Persia, is excited about the game's debut. Lead Game Producer Kun Fu stated, "Debuting Tides of Annihilation at Sony State of Play is an incredible achievement. We've crafted a world reimagining Arthurian legend, blending courage, loyalty, and heroism within an epic story set in a familiar yet strange London."

Tides of Annihilation is a single-player, narrative-driven adventure set in a distorted, otherworldly-invaded London. As Gwendolyn, humanity's last hope, players embark on a quest to determine the fate of reality. Summon spectral knights, battle hordes of enemies and colossal bosses, and traverse vertically challenging environments.
