Fantasian Neo Dimension: Mastering the Tachyon Medal
Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a breathtaking world where Leo and his companions confront Jas's devastating "Zero" plan, a threat capable of obliterating existence. The game's captivating story and unique mechanics create an immersive experience as the stakes escalate.
The Tachyon Medal is a crucial late-game item integral to a challenging, extended side quest. Obtaining it is just the first step; its true function unfolds later. This guide details how to acquire and utilize the Tachyon Medal.
Locating the Tachyon Medal
The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, emerging as the final item before the final showdown. To acquire it, progress through the main storyline until reaching Sanctum, nestled within the God Realm, accessible via the Communication Network. Inside the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. Be prepared for its summoned allies and its "Consume" attack, which inflicts a 90% health drain; Kina's healing abilities are essential. Equipping Petrification Null gear significantly eases the battle.
Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves highly effective against summoned enemies. Consider bringing Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities deliver devastating damage.
After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Amidst the rubble, locate a chest to the right; it holds the Tachyon Medal.
Utilizing the Tachyon Medal
Activating the Tachyon Medal requires two prerequisites: reaching the Altar in Shangri-La and completing the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. The Cinderella Tri-Stars appear in eight locations, the first two encountered during the main story:
- En New District
- Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
- Royal Capital - Main Street
- Frozen Tundra - Center
- Hidden Valley – Duet Path
- Ancient Hill – River
- Nameless Island – Depths
- Shangri-La – Fallen City
Defeat these bosses in the specified order. After the final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests will appear beneath the Altar; one contains the Holy Belt, granting All Ailment Null.
Opening all three chests reveals a glowing door, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, carrying over levels, items, and equipment. While enemies become stronger, this poses minimal challenge, particularly if all side quests are completed beforehand. Using the Tachyon Medal unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your quest to save the Human Realm.
