Stellar Mercenaries has just launched its most expansive update yet with The Jupiter Expansion, nearly doubling the game's content. This update introduces two new factions, the Jovian Empire and the Pirate Council, who are locked in a fierce battle for dominance around Jupiter and its moons.
The expansion adds over 50 new missions spread across five different worlds, offering a variety of objectives such as escort operations, piracy, train defense, and hyperspace hunts. Players can now explore and engage in thrilling new challenges.
Six new ships have been added to the game, each with unique abilities and configurations: The Raider, Goblin, Mako, Boxer, Lightening, and Skybreaker. These ships cater to different playstyles, enhancing your fleet's versatility and customization options.
Combat dynamics have been enriched with six new weapons: the Hyper Velocity Mortar, Plasma Seeker, EMP Rockets, Mauler Cannon, Electron Beam, and Neutron Beam. Players can also upgrade their defenses with Tier 4 shields and armors. New special abilities and mods, including Drones, Point Defense, Critical Strike, and Missile Fire Rate, introduce fresh strategic layers to the gameplay.

Enemy encounters have become more challenging with the introduction of Nightmare, Riot, and Warhawk-class mercenaries. These formidable foes evolve alongside your progress. The update also adds dynamic environmental hazards like asteroid fields, elite enemy ambushes, and the Pacifier, a new deep-space threat.
Beyond the main campaign, a new side mission system keeps the gameplay unpredictable. Additionally, 14 new music tracks enhance the immersive sci-fi atmosphere. The Hangar Manager now allows for better arsenal management with expanded inventory and loadout slots.
