Saber Interactive has reaffirmed that all its previously announced games remain in active development, despite the lack of updates on high-profile titles like the eagerly awaited Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) remake. In a recent tweet, Saber's Chief Creative Officer Tim Willits addressed fans' concerns, emphasizing the studio's ongoing commitment to its projects.
"Saber Interactive is one of the largest independent developers in the world," Willits stated. "We are working on numerous games across many different genres. Everything that we have talked about is still in development. We will share information on upcoming games when we have something cool to share."

The most notable game mentioned in Willits' statement is the KOTOR remake, a project that has garnered significant attention yet remains shrouded in mystery. Initially announced in 2021, the remake has seen multiple development changes, including a pause and restart, and has yet to emerge after four years.
In April 2024, Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch confirmed that the KOTOR remake was part of the assets Saber took with them when they separated from Embracer Group, and he assured that the game was still being actively developed. "It's clear and it's obvious that we're working on this," Karch said at the time. "It's been in the press numerous times. What I will say is that the game is alive and well, and we're dedicated to making sure we exceed consumer expectations."
Willits' recent statement, coming almost a year after Karch's comments, further solidifies the company's dedication to the KOTOR remake. However, fans have yet to see any updates beyond the initial announcement video.
Saber Interactive's portfolio extends beyond the KOTOR remake, with several other titles in the pipeline. Games such as John Carpenter's Toxic Commando and Jurassic Park Survival are slated for release in 2025, though specific dates have not been set. Additionally, Saber is developing a new Turok game and an untitled project based on Avatar: The Last Airbender.
The latest addition to their lineup is Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3. For more details on what to expect from this title, including potential chapters and enemy factions, be sure to check out IGN's comprehensive article on the subject.
