In Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, armor is a costly investment. Vendor prices are steep, and upgrades demand significant coupon expenditure. But there's a way to bypass this hefty expense: acquire the SEVA-D suit, a powerful piece of equipment offering substantial benefits, including PSI protection, completely free. Here's how.
How to Obtain the SEVA-D Armor in Stalker 2
The SEVA-D armor awaits atop a building in the Cage location within the Cement Factory region. This is north of the Cement Factory base and east of the Slag Heap base. You'll need to navigate a precarious climb on an under-construction building. Be warned: thin concrete beams and a PSI anomaly field inflicting damage over time make this a challenging feat. Bring plenty of medkits and consider frequent quick saves to avoid repeating sections after a fall.
Ascending the Cage Building
Here's a step-by-step guide to reaching the top:
- Ascend the initial concrete stairs to the first floor.
- Proceed right, traversing the narrow concrete beam to the opposite side. Locate and climb the stairs to the second floor.
- Jump the gap on the second floor, following the narrow path to the right.
- Cross the beam, jumping another gap to reach a rusted metal platform.
- Use the ladders to climb the platform, utilizing stacked boxes to access a narrow path.
- Carefully traverse the narrow concrete path and the connecting beam to the right, reaching the center.
- Locate another concrete beam with a pole; cross it and jump to the platform on the right. Use the stairs to the third floor.
- Finally, jump the gap, crouch under the concrete beam, and use the stairs to reach the roof.
Acquiring the SEVA-D Suit and its Attributes
The SEVA-D suit resides in a blue stash at the roof's edge. Don't forget to collect the limited-edition energy drink and the PDA under the table—both contain valuable resources.
The suit boasts 70% durability, repairable by any technician for a fee. Its significant PSI and radiation protection, coupled with high physical protection, make it invaluable in combat. To exit, jump from the central roof hole; you'll land safely on a gravitational anomaly below.
