The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card made its debut on April 16 as the most affordable Blackwell GPU on the market. Unfortunately, it turned out to be another "paper" launch, with actual retail units scarce and often sold at a significant markup. However, if you're in the market for a complete prebuilt gaming PC featuring this new GPU, you're in luck. Not only are there plenty of prebuilt gaming PCs readily available, but they are also reasonably priced. The two most budget-friendly options we've spotted so far are both Skytech models available on Amazon, starting at an attractive $1,249.99. This price point offers excellent value for a current-generation gaming rig capable of handling 1080p and 1440p gaming.

The RTX 5060 Ti is the successor to the RTX 4060 Ti and delivers a solid 15%-20% performance boost in games. This improvement is more significant than the generational leap seen with the RTX 5070 over the RTX 4070. From a value standpoint, the RTX 5060 Ti stands out as the best Blackwell card for 1080p gaming and is fully capable of handling 1440p gaming, particularly when DLSS 4 is enabled. While the RTX 5070 is more powerful, a prebuilt system with an RTX 5070 typically starts at $1,700-$1,800. For gamers targeting 1440p or lower resolutions, the premium for the RTX 5070 is difficult to justify.
GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Review by James Archer (Rock Paper Shotgun)
"The RTX 5060 Ti continues the grand tradition of the XX60 Ti series, delivering smooth yet relatively budget-friendly performance at 1440p. Compared to the more expensive RTX 5070, it makes a more significant effort to push native-resolution, pre-DLSS frame rates forward from the previous 40 series.
We can therefore consider the RTX 5060 Ti as one of the more successful RTX 50 series graphics cards, and the current go-to choice for budget-conscious gamers looking to play at 1440p."
