A 2026 Release Date
Housemarque's Saros, a PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro exclusive, is set to launch sometime in 2026. Building upon the success of Returnal, this new IP promises to refine and expand on the thrilling third-person action gameplay. The game will feature Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.
Evolving Gameplay: Come Back Stronger
According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived to allow Returnal to stand independently while establishing a new franchise. Unlike Returnal's constantly shifting roguelike environments, Saros will introduce persistent and progressively customizable loadouts – weapons and suits – empowering players to "Come Back Stronger" from each encounter.
