The Roland-Garros eSeries is set to make a thrilling return in 2025, bringing the world's top Tennis Clash players onto the virtual clay courts. This year, the tournament introduces a novel team-based format, with legendary tennis captains leading the charge and an impressive €5,000 prize pool up for grabs.
Renault and Mastercard continue their sponsorship, allowing players to personalize their characters with the latest Roland-Garros 2025 outfits and the exclusive Renault 5 Roland-Garros string, enhancing the gaming experience with authentic branding.
When Does It Start?
The excitement kicks off in March with the open qualifiers, serving as the initial battleground for players vying for a spot in the finals. The qualifiers are scheduled for three stages: March 6-11, March 20-25, and April 3-8. These stages will filter out the elite contenders ready to compete at the highest level.
The top female players from the first two qualifiers will join the overall winners, setting the stage for a thrilling showdown. The finalists will battle it out at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium on May 24th, in front of a live audience, with the entire event being streamed live on Twitch for global viewing.
What’s New This Year?
The Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 breaks from tradition with its new team-based format. Instead of solo play, finalists will be organized into teams, each under the guidance of a prominent figure in French tennis. Gilles Simon, a former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion, has been confirmed as one of the captains. Simon, who has been a commentator since 2023 and competed in the Top 8 in 2024, will coach one squad. The identity of the opposing captain, teased as a Grand Slam winner, remains a tantalizing mystery.
Are You Excited for the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025?
Once the teams are formed, the competition will intensify. The winning team from the initial phase will advance to the winner's side of a double-elimination bracket, while the losing team starts in the loser's bracket, adding another layer of strategy and excitement to the tournament.
Alessandro ΔLEX Bianco, the reigning champion, returns to defend his title and will be joined by the two Grand Tour finalists. With last year's event attracting 548,000 participants from 215 territories, the competition in 2025 promises to be even fiercer.
In celebration of Women's Day, Tennis Clash is offering a trip to Paris for the top female and overall players, adding an extra incentive to compete.
