Playing games with friends can significantly enhance the gaming experience. In the thrilling game *R.E.P.O.*, where teamwork is crucial to survive the onslaught of tough monsters, even the strongest squad might have a weak link at times. However, the game's mechanics allow squad members to take turns needing help, making it a unique and engaging experience. Here’s how to revive your teammates in *R.E.P.O.* after they get taken down.
What To Do If a Teammate Dies in R.E.P.O.
In *R.E.P.O.*, each player starts a round with a full health bar at 100. You can lose health from encounters with monsters or even from using your own items like Human Grenades. To regain health, you can use Health Packs found at the Service Station. Additionally, teammates can share their health by approaching another player and interacting with their health bar. This cooperative mechanic is a standout feature and could inspire more games to adopt similar systems.
Despite these methods to stay healthy, the monsters in *R.E.P.O.* can sometimes become overwhelming, leading to the elimination of a squad member. When this happens, you have two options: wait for the round to end or take immediate action. Upon a teammate's death, their head falls to the ground, which you can pick up. Keep an eye on where they fall or use the map to locate the head, marked by a small icon matching their character's color. However, retrieving the head is just the first step.
Where To Revive Teammates in R.E.P.O.
Once you have the head in your inventory, make your way to the extraction point. Place the head on the point, and if you've met the round's loot requirement (visible at the top right of your screen), your teammate will respawn with 1 HP. To help them regain more health and contribute effectively, they should enter the truck at the extraction point. After that, it's back to the mission at hand. If you can't retrieve the head, there's another method to bring your teammates back.
If retrieving the head isn't possible, starting a new round will also revive dead players, similar to the mechanics in *Call of Duty* Zombies. This approach, while leaving you at a disadvantage for the remainder of the current round, can be beneficial, especially if a player is new and needs time to learn from more experienced teammates. This reset allows them to observe and learn without being thrown into a challenging situation immediately.
