League of Legends has been exploring its musical side with great enthusiasm in recent years, from the unforgettable soundtrack of Arcane to the unique blend of pop idols and MOBA champions with K/DA. Now, Teamfight Tactics is bringing back a beloved set with the Revival: Remix Rumble, set to launch at 5PM PT today (tomorrow for UK audiences) and available until July 29th.
But what is Remix Rumble, you ask? This music-themed set introduces new augments that enhance certain characters, adding a fresh twist to the gameplay. For instance, K/DA champions benefit from augments like Mesmerising Performance and Rap Queen, which provide enhanced effects and alter gameplay dynamics in exciting ways.
The current set in Teamfight Tactics will not be replaced but rather complemented by this revival. You'll encounter the Hack mechanic from the Cyber City set right from the start. These encounters can feature champions like Ahri, who upgrades your Headliners to appear one level higher, Akali, who boosts Headliner champions' traits, and Zac, who introduces Cyber City hacks into your gameplay.
Alongside these exciting additions, the highly requested Revival Ladder is making a comeback. This progression system allows you to unlock new ranks and rewards based on your skill and gameplay style. Additionally, an event pass priced at 975 RP is available, offering a variety of Remix Rumble-themed rewards and introducing a new little legend, the Pentakill Siege Minion, to the lineup.
While Teamfight Tactics may differ significantly from the original League of Legends in terms of genre and gameplay, it successfully captures the fun and excitement of the iconic MOBA on mobile platforms.
