Back in January, Bluepoch Games set the stage for an exhilarating crossover, and now, the details on the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed collaboration have been unveiled, promising to bring Ezio Auditore da Firenze into the fold as a playable character. In partnership with Ubisoft, this crossover will celebrate two iconic chapters of the Assassin's Creed saga: Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey. A teaser released in January captured Vertin navigating a rain-soaked street, with the Assassin’s Creed logo shining brightly in the distance, hinting at the thrilling adventures to come.
Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!
The comprehensive rollout for this much-anticipated event is slated for August 2025, and will be available on Android, iOS, and PC platforms. Beyond the inclusion of Ezio, the collaboration packs a variety of exciting features for fans to look forward to.
The crossover is thoughtfully structured into two distinct phases, each delivering a unique set of Assassin’s Creed-themed narratives and events. Phase I transports players to the heart of Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will navigate the 15th-century Italian landscape, deciphering enigmatic clues along the way.
Phase II then transitions to the ancient world of Greece, directly inspired by Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Players familiar with the game will find themselves immersed in recognizable events as Vertin's journey unfolds amidst the backdrop of classical antiquity.
