Resident Evil Requiem (RE9) Upcoming Showcase Events
Playable Demo at PAX WEST 2025
The horror continues as Resident Evil Requiem (RE9) prepares to terrify fans with its first playable demo. Capcom USA confirmed via Twitter/X on August 12th that attendees can experience RE9 firsthand at PAX WEST 2025 from August 19th through September 1st at the Seattle Convention Center.
Additionally, Capcom will host a special developer panel on August 31st at 2 PM in the Main Theatre, revealing new gameplay details. The event will also feature playable demos for other anticipated Capcom titles including Onimusha: Way of the Sword and PRAGMATA.
Exclusive Look At Gamescom 2025
Prior to its PAX WEST debut, RE9 will make an appearance at Gamescom 2025. Event host Geoff Keighley announced via Twitter/X that the game will be showcased during Opening Night Live on August 19th at:
- 8 PM CEST
- 7 PM BST
- 2 PM ET
- 11 AM PT
The broadcast will stream across all official Gamescom platforms. This comes just over a month after Capcom Spotlight 2025, where developers highlighted the game's focus on delivering "addictive fear" through its chilling gameplay mechanics.
