Gravity Interactive has officially launched pre-registration for the mobile title Ragnarok M: Classic Global. Previously exclusive to Southeast Asia following its mid-April launch there, the upcoming Closed Beta Test will give North American and European players their first opportunity to experience the game.
What’s the game like?
Ragnarok M: Classic Global champions fairness and simplicity by doing away with daily or weekly paid bundles, removing gacha mechanics, and completely avoiding microtransactions. This is a significant promise from the developers.
All players receive a complimentary monthly premium pass, which provides benefits like boosted EXP and item drop rates, alongside an offline battle system that allows your character to progress even while you're away.
A cornerstone of the design is its Zeny-only economy. For newcomers to Ragnarok, Zeny is the primary in-game currency. Everything—from high-tier gear to elusive MVP cards—can be acquired and traded using Zeny.
The game features six iconic base classes, each upgradable to their third tier (Tier 3). Once unlocked, you can freely swap between these advanced jobs, creating a flexible system perfect for tackling diverse PvE and PvP scenarios.
A comprehensive card crafting system is also in place. Hunt monsters, minis, and MVPs to gather materials for weekly card creation. Furthermore, enhancing equipment up to a +15 refinement level boasts a guaranteed 100% success rate.
Pre-registration for Ragnarok M: Classic Global is now live
Cooperative play is encouraged through team instances, where groups can battle formidable bosses for substantial rewards. Guilds offer a platform for tackling even greater challenges together.
You can pre-register for the game now via the Google Play Store. It is scheduled for a free-to-play release in the first week of September.
