The Appearance of Promo Card 008

The Promo Card section appeared complete until, around January 2025, a new, unobtainable card, Promo Card 008, materialized in the Promo – A Card Dex. This empty slot sits conspicuously between Professor Oak (007) and Pikachu (009).

While its numbering suggests a longer existence, it only recently became visible as a blank space. Players are eager to learn how to acquire this elusive card.

The card's information page confirms its unowned status and notes it will be "obtained from a campaign," similar to the New Year 2025 Pikachu card (Promo 026). This differs from cards acquired through missions or Wonder Pick events, suggesting a promotional giveaway.
