Early in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, you'll encounter side quests in Tachov and Zhelejov, requiring you to choose between helping Prochek or Olbram. This guide clarifies whether you can support both and which choice might be best for you.
Can You Help Both Prochek and Olbram in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*?
Tachov and Zhelejov are locked in a bitter rivalry. Fortunately, you can largely complete quests for both Prochek and Olbram. While a fully satisfying outcome for both is impossible, this approach allows you to explore both settlements' stories more fully.
Should You Choose Prochek or Olbram in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*?
If forced to choose, there's little practical difference. Both aim to sabotage the other, making the decision primarily about personal preference.
Olbram's task involves stealing Zhelejov's maypole, requiring nighttime stealth and potentially charming a guard. Prochek's quest involves painting Olbram's bull blue, demanding dye from the tailor and a lullaby potion recipe from Radovan.
Prochek's quest might be slightly harder early on, potentially requiring more groschen or Speech skill. Olbram's might be easier for less experienced players. Details of both questlines follow.
How to Start "Mice" for Prochek in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*
Speak to Prochek in Tachov (if he's not readily visible, check the local inn).
Getting the Dye and Lullaby Potion

Purchase dye from Bartoshek, the tailor in Troskowitz. Acquire the lullaby potion recipe by working for Radovan (the blacksmith) or charming him. The recipe requires oil, poppy, and thistle (found near the Troskowitz apothecary). Brew the potion, then head to Zhelejov, pour it into the bull's trough, and paint the bull once it's asleep. Report back to Prochek. You can then choose to help Olbram.
How to Start "Frogs" for Olbram in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*
Find Olbram near the meadow in Zhelejov and agree to steal the Tachov maypole.
Stealing the Maypole
Go to Tachov at night. You can knock out or charm Henrik, the guard. Charming him (requiring sufficient Speech) involves arranging a date for him with Manka at the inn. Once Henrik leaves, climb and chop down the maypole. Return to Olbram; he'll request you chase sheep from a Tachov pasture and deliver a digestive potion to Alshik. At this point, you can complete Olbram's tasks or inform Prochek of Olbram's plans, concluding both quests.
