Contrary to what the trophy's description might suggest about dragons or wyverns, your target is actually the elusive Curioshell Crab. To capture this creature, you'll need to use your Capture Net.
Finding the Curioshell Crab can be challenging as it appears across various maps. Our most effective method has been to head to the Scarlet Forest. Start from the base camp and navigate to Area 6, known as the Flowering Rocks pop-up camp, situated between Areas 2 and 6.
Equip your Capture Net, aim carefully until the reticle turns orange, and then fire to capture the crab. A successful capture will net you both the Curioshell Crab and an Ancient Wyvern Coin.
The Curioshell Crab moves quickly, so anticipate its path and aim ahead to capture it effectively. Besides the Scarlet Forest, you might find it in Area 13 of the Windward Plains or Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest. While it can spawn in other areas, these are the locations we've tested and found reliable.
