Pokémon Go has revealed exciting details about its upcoming June Community Day event. The spotlight shines on Jangmo-o, along with special Research tasks and exclusive encounters.
The Pokémon Go community has enjoyed a flurry of announcements recently, from the Road Trip reveal to June's Delightful Days Battle League content. Now trainers can mark their calendars for the June 21st, 2025 Community Day featuring Jangmo-o.
Jangmo-o Takes Center Stage
The dragon-type Jangmo-o will appear more frequently during the event, with rare Shiny encounters possible. Trainers who evolve Jangmo-o into Hakamo-o and then Kommo-o between June 21-28 will receive Kommo-o with the exclusive Clanging Scales charged attack.
Special Research Opportunities
The event offers premium Special Research ($1.99 USD or regional equivalent) focusing on Jangmo-o encounters, plus free Timed Research with thematic backgrounds. Field Research tasks reward participants with Stardust, Great Balls, and additional Jangmo-o encounters — some featuring new Delightful Days-themed backgrounds.
Community Day Activities
Trainers can coordinate meetups using the Community Day Map and RSVP planner, participate in Pokéstop Showcases, and browse exclusive web store offers. This promises to be one of the most content-rich Community Days yet.
