The latest expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket has arrived, and it's shining brighter than ever with the introduction of over 110 new cards. Named Shining Revelry, this expansion brings dazzling shiny variants into the game, including additions from the Paldea region that add a fresh layer of excitement to the mix. As someone eager to dive into this new content, I couldn't resist spending my Pack Hourglasses on a 10-pack pull, and was thrilled to uncover a Charizard EX, though the rest of the haul was less spectacular.
Among the cards I did manage to pull was the Pokémon Center Lady, which offers some comfort. Her ability to heal Special Conditions can be a game-changer, especially when facing off against debilitating effects like Burn.
In line with previous updates, Shining Revelry introduces an Emblem event, allowing players to earn new badges to show off to their friends. What's more exciting, however, is the introduction of Ranked Matches. These will see you battling other Trainers as you progress from Beginner to Master Ball Rank. Your performance will be reflected in points, and at the end of the season—approximately one month—you'll be awarded an emblem. It's time to dust off my dueling skills and start crafting some competitive decks.
