Black Kyurem's Freeze Shock and White Kyurem's Ice Burn offer significant advantages. Freeze Shock immobilizes wild Pokémon for easier catching, while Ice Burn slows the catch ring for improved accuracy with Excellent Throws. Both effects last 10 minutes and are stackable up to two hours, with a total duration of 24 hours.
This event introduces a new Fusion mechanic. Defeat Black or White Kyurem in five-star raids to obtain Fusion Energy. Fusing Zekrom or Reshiram with Kyurem (possessing Glaciate) will grant Kyurem Freeze Shock or Ice Burn respectively. Note that these moves are temporary and revert to Glaciate upon separation. They cannot be obtained via Charged TMs or Elite Charged TMs.
Choose your path: the Black Version (Reshiram) or White Version (Zekrom) event badge. Each offers unique Special Research rewards and influences the move Kyurem learns after the respective Kyurem raid.
The Tour Pass is your key to enhanced rewards and boosted Adventure Effects. Earn Tour Points by catching Pokémon, completing raids, and hatching Eggs, or expedite progress with quick Pass Tasks. Reaching Major Milestones increases Catch XP and extends the duration of Freeze Shock or Ice Burn.
