The Pokémon Company has officially recognized supply shortages affecting the upcoming Scarlet and Violet — Prismatic Evolutions expansion while outlining corrective measures. This marks the organization's first public statement regarding availability concerns for the next Pokémon TCG set.
Scheduled for international release on January 17, 2025, the Prismatic Evolutions expansion aims to launch the new trading card game year with momentum. However, similar to previous major releases, global distribution challenges have emerged, particularly affecting North American markets.
Company Responds to Fan Concerns
Following weeks of community feedback across social platforms, company representatives confirmed production efforts are underway to address the shortages. "We recognize these availability challenges may disappoint collectors, and we're operating at maximum capacity to replenish affected products," a spokesperson told industry media.
