The Pokémon TCG Pocket Blastoise Wonder Pick event continues! Part two is now live, bringing a fresh batch of cosmetic rewards to the in-game shop.
This update features new Blastoise-themed goodies: a stylish Blastoise icon, a collectible coin, themed card sleeves, and a vibrant Blue and Blastoise playmat. Don't miss out on these limited-time items!
Event Timeline:
- Event Part Two: Runs until January 22nd.
- Event Shop: Remains open until January 28th, allowing ample time to redeem earned tickets.
Following the holiday season's flurry of Pack Hourglasses and free booster packs, the event pace has slowed. Many players have completed the Mythical Island booster packs and anticipate the next expansion, rumored for late January. The confirmed usability of Pack Hourglasses in future expansions has spurred players to stockpile them.
The new Blastoise cosmetics provide a compelling reason to log in daily. Players can exchange excess event tickets for Shinedust (50 Shinedust per ticket, up to 1,000 Shinedust total).
Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: A Recap
Part one, launched January 6th, introduced promo cards featuring Squirtle and Charmander (with unique artwork but standard attack stats). These, along with a Blue and Blastoise backdrop and cover, remain available. New missions, rewarding Event Shop Tickets, involve Wonder Pick participation and collecting Fire- and Water-type cards. Progress from both event parts is cumulative. The Bonus Pick also offers Event Shop Tickets.
Daily logins are crucial for completing all missions and acquiring all items, especially considering the rumored inability to trade these limited-edition promo cards.
