May 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for Pokémon GO players, with a packed schedule of events and raid opportunities. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the return of the Lake Trio to 5-Star Raids in various regions around the globe.
What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?
Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will make its appearance in Five-Star raids from May 1st to May 12th. Players can look forward to encountering this Pokémon with its signature move, Nature's Madness, and the chance to find its Shiny form.
Following Tapu Fini, the Lake Trio will make their grand return starting May 12th. Depending on your location, you'll encounter Uxie in the Asia-Pacific region, Mesprit in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, and Azelf in the Americas and Greenland. This regional distribution adds a unique twist to the raid experience.
After the Lake Trio, Tapu Bulu will take the stage in raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025, also featuring Nature's Madness and a chance to encounter its Shiny variant.
For those interested in Mega Raids, May offers a strong lineup. From May 1st to 12th, Mega Houndoom will be available. This will be followed by Mega Gyarados from May 12th to 25th, and Mega Altaria will close out the month from May 25th to June 3rd.
