Pokémon TCG Pocket's latest emblem event, the Space-Time Smackdown, is now live! Earn non-consecutive wins to unlock cool new emblems and showcase your battling skills.
While the trading feature may not have met all fan expectations, Pokémon TCG Pocket still offers plenty of fun. This emblem event provides a fresh challenge for players to demonstrate their Pokémon mastery.
How to earn emblems: Accumulate a specific number of victories to unlock emblems themed around the Space-Time Smackdown event. Unlike previous events, wins don't need to be consecutive, but achieving the highest-tier emblems requires a significant number of wins (45 to be exact!).
Rewards: New emblems to display proudly on your player profile. But act fast! This event ends February 25th, so you'll need to rack up those wins to claim the coveted Gold emblem.
Gamified Rewards: A Mixed Bag
The emblem system presents a unique approach to adapting the TCG to a digital format. The implementation, like the trading feature, seems to waver between fully replicating a physical TCG and simply emulating its core aspects.
However, events like this effectively combat potential player boredom, encouraging continued engagement and the pursuit of higher achievements.
