Eleven Puzzles' cooperative puzzler, Parallel Experiment, originally slated for a March Steam launch, has been delayed until June 5th. This revised release date applies to all platforms: Steam, Android, and iOS. The delay allows for the inclusion of all planned features, including optional puzzles and additional mechanics, across all versions. Cross-play functionality will be available at launch.
Players will assume the roles of detectives Ally and Old Dog, embroiled in a sinister experiment orchestrated by the Cryptic Killer. Success hinges on collaborative puzzle-solving, requiring teamwork and communication to navigate over 80 interconnected challenges. These challenges range from deciphering codes and manipulating water systems to computer hacking and even interacting with an inebriated individual.
The game's noir atmosphere and comic book art style enhance the immersive experience. Beyond the core investigation, players can engage in retro-style cooperative mini-games, including darts, claw machines, and match-three puzzles, adding a lighter touch between intense problem-solving segments.
Interactive dialogue with dynamic NPC responses adds depth to the mystery. Furthermore, the game incorporates playful elements allowing players to playfully antagonize their partner through various in-game actions.
Parallel Experiment boasts five times the content of Eleven Puzzles' previous title, promising a significantly enhanced cooperative gameplay experience. Visit the Steam page for further details. The game launches June 5th.
