Dungeonborne, a PvPvE action game reminiscent of Dark and Darker, is shutting down. Its developers have announced the end of support and the closure of its servers, effective May 28th. The game, launched less than a year ago, struggled to maintain a player base due to low activity and a lack of substantial updates.
While the Steam page remains accessible via direct link, it's no longer searchable on the platform. The official reason for the closure remains unstated, but dwindling player numbers are clearly a significant factor. Concurrent player counts have been below 200 since late 2024, plummeting to a mere 10-15 in recent days.
This marks the unfortunate end of Dungeonborne, a title that initially garnered attention from fans of the genre but ultimately failed to reach its full potential.
