At the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience in Japan, a remarkable speedrunning event took place where a player of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild managed to conquer the game's final boss within just 10 minutes. Japanese content creator Ikaboze, as reported by VGC, accomplished this feat using an existing save file without prior knowledge of Link's equipment. In a bold challenge, Ikaboze decided to "defeat the final boss while tied up completely naked and with all my equipment removed." Starting from a save point that directly led to the confrontation with Ganon, Ikaboze successfully defeated the boss in a mere seven minutes, prompting spontaneous applause from the onlookers.
The event was even more impressive considering Ikaboze was navigating an unfamiliar controller and couldn't hear the game over the convention hall's noise. "I was surprised by how many people had gathered," Ikaboze noted. "Staff were even filming on their smartphones. This was the first time anyone had completed the Breath of the Wild demo, and staff congratulated me."
