If you prefer to purchase Mario Kart World separately, be prepared for a price tag of $79.99, reflecting its status as a fan-favorite racer.

You can currently register your interest with Nintendo to be notified about preorders for the Nintendo Switch 2 and its accessories through the My Nintendo Store. Invitations to purchase will be sent via email on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to users who have a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership and at least 50 gameplay hours logged by April 2, 2025. After priority users, remaining eligible registrants will be considered. Invitations are non-transferable and valid for 72 hours. Purchases are limited to one system and one of each accessory per account. Major retailers are also expected to open preorders on April 9, 2025.
